Who Are We?

Welcome to OrientalHome! We are a family-owned cattery located in MA State. Our love for Oriental cats began years ago when we welcomed our first kitten into our home. Since then, we have dedicated ourselves to breeding and raising healthy, socialized, and happy Oriental.

At Oriental Home, we prioritize the well-being of our cats and ensure that they are raised in a clean and safe environment. We follow ethical breeding standards and work closely with our veterinarian to ensure that our cats are healthy and well-cared for.

Our kittens are raised underfoot and are socialized from an early age, which makes them adaptable to different environments and family dynamics. We believe in matching our kittens with the perfect families to ensure that both the kitten and the family have a lifelong, loving bond.

We take great pride in our Oriental kittens and strive to produce kittens that meet the breed standards. Our kittens come with a health guarantee and are up-to-date on all their vaccinations and deworming.

To ensure the health of our breeding cats, we follow rigorous practices. These tips cover various aspects of their care, including grooming, nutrition, and environmental enrichment.

Veterinary Care

Your Oriental kitten will come with a health certificate from a licensed veterinarian, as well as copies of the negative HCM scans from both parents. It is essential to schedule a veterinary visit within 48 hours of receiving your kitten. Finding a veterinarian familiar with the Oriental breed is crucial for their ongoing health, and we can provide recommendations for reputable vets in Texas.

We recommend the following vaccinations:

  • FVRCP: Administer the first dose starting between 6-8 weeks, followed by additional doses every 4 weeks until 16 weeks (a total of 4 doses).
  • FeLV: Administer once during the first year of life.
  • Rabies: Administer once during the first year of life, followed by annual vaccinations.

Please note that we do not administer the FIP vaccination as it has been associated with adverse reactions in Oriental cats.

Thank you for considering adopting an Oriental kitten from us. If you have any further inquiries or concerns, please feel free to reach out to us. We are dedicated to ensuring that our kittens are placed in loving homes where they will thrive and lead happy, healthy lives.
